Bio:
- Tom began his career in 1988 with the Sun Alliance in the West End progressing through a variety of underwriting roles.
- Joined Aviva in 1999 as Account Manager for Property Owners Account
- Joined Allianz in 2006 As Underwriting Development Manager
- Joined Chaucer in 2008 to assist Stuart Dickinson in broadening the range of UK products. Rising to Deputy Head, UK Commercial with specialising in UK SME and Property Owners.
- Became Deputy Head of Commercial for Zenith Marque upon Markerstudy’s acquisition of Chaucer’s UK Division in 2015, then Divisional Head Commercial in 2018.
Responsibilities:
- Tom is the Deputy Head of the Zenith Marque Commercial Division based in Whitstable. Tom is responsible for the continued development of the Commercial SME and Property Owners business segments. Developing and implementing the business plans to deliver both growth and profitability whilst expanding the growing broker base and delivering excellent customer service. As well as managing these accounts, Tom has a hands-on roll in underwriting new and existing business, particular large clients and complex risks.
- Tom is also responsible for the training and progression of a team of commercial underwriters and underwriting assistants to ensure that Zenith Marque continues to offer a superb level of technical expertise.

Bio:
- Kayleigh joined Chaucer in December 2011, transferring to the Commercial team in 2012.
- Having worked as a Team Leader within Zenith Marque, following Markerstudy’s acquisition of Chaucer’s UK Division in 2015, Kayleigh has progressed to Product Head Commercial.
Responsibilities:
- Kayleigh mainly deals with liability and commercial combined policies, underwriting new business and dealing with existing business. She manages the new business and existing business Assistant Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants on a day-to-day basis, their training and development and underwriting referrals.

Bio:
- Keely joined Royal Sun Alliance in 1986 underwriting new business and specialising in general liability
- She moved to Chaucer in September 2008, joining Stuart Dickinson to help in the founding of the UK Commercial department.
- Keely is now Senior Assistant Underwriter within Zenith Marque, following Markerstudy’s acquisition of Chaucer’s UK Division in 2015.
Responsibilities:
- Keely’s role as Senior Assistant Underwriter involves actively both product and personnel development. Keely acts as a mentor and technical referral for the team in respect of liability products, focussing on complex liability cases. Over the past two years she has developed and promoted a Professional Indemnity/Professional Services Product, which is called PL+, designed to meet the needs of SME contracting businesses. Keely is involved in the marketing of this product to increase market awareness on how the product works and its application for our clients.
- Keely maintains the day-today running of the Tradesmans/Micro account, ensuring that great customer service and a high standard of underwriting is maintained.
- Keely also carries out bespoke underwriting on a case-by-case basis and strive to ensure that all risks are underwritten properly and any gaps in cover eliminated. Keely monitors and generates business enquiries through the Extranet and Acturis systems, providing a high level e-trade quoting service for the brokers.

Bio:
- Clare started her underwriting career with Highway in 1999, then moved to Tradex where she worked for 10 years.
- Clare joined Markerstudy Insurance in July 2013 to underwrite Motor Trade Road Risks at the Chelmsford office.
- She moved to the Zenith Marque commercial team in Whitstable in June 2016
Responsibilities:
- Clare is responsible for the development and underwriting of the new Motor Trade Commercial Combined product. This is an existing new product to Zenith Marque which incorporates the existing Commercial garage risks product and the Road Risk product to make a comprehensive Motor Trade Combined package. Clare is involved with the on-going development of the scheme and in managing the profitability of broker accounts whilst developing and ensuring good business relations.

- Elliot joined Zenith Marque in September 2015 as Commercial Operation Representative.
- He subsequently moved to the Commercial team as an Underwriting Assistant in the existing business team.
- Elliot transferred to the new business team as Assistant Underwriter in 2016, originally working on the Property Owners account in May 2016, and latterly on the SME portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Elliot works with brokers on new business, helping to develop their Property Owners and Commercial SME accounts with Zenith Marque.

- Alfie joined Chaucer Insurance as a Referral and Underwriting Technician in the Motor Dept.
- He moved to the commercial team as an underwriting Assistant in July 2016.
- Alfie now works as an Assistant underwriter on the Motor Trade account
Responsibilities:
- Alfie works in the Motor Trade team, primarily on new business. Within the team their are three main products: Motor Trade Garage Risks, Motorsports Combined and Motor Trade Combined. Alfie’s background in motor underwriting has been invaluable in the development of a full combined motor trade product. Motor Trade is a growth area for Zenith Marque; Alfie would be delighted to talk to any of our brokers about how we can service their Motor Trade clients.

- Lorraine joined Zenith Marque in July 2015 as a Commercial Operations Representative.

Responsibilities:
- Lorraine helps our brokers with their Extranet and Acturis Tradesman’s package referrals. Our niche positioning the market means that our broker partners refer business with all sorts of quirks. Whether its unusual trades, poor financial history or prior convictions, we try to accommodate as many as we can. We know that a quick response time and a flexible approach is key to converting these cases into new business.
