- Began his career in 1985 with the Guardian Royal Exchange Group starting in the Personal Lines Department and progressing through a variety of underwriting roles.
- Left his role as Development Underwriter leading a team in the South East Area office in order to take up an underwriting position at Guardian's London Market Division.
- Moved to Lloyd's and SVB Syndicate G H Carrington to found the UK SME account in 1999.
- Recruited by Chaucer in 2007 as Commercial Development Underwriter to broaden the range of UK products.
- Promoted to Divisional Head, UK Commercial in 2011

- Began his career in the general insurance market in 1988 with Sun Alliance progressing his career through a variety of Underwriting, Development and Account Management roles with Aviva and Allianz
- Joined Chaucer Insurance in July 2008 to assist in the underwriting & development of the first part of Chaucer's new business strand - the successfully established general liability account.
- Responsible for the development of non-standard SME business and schemes together with being the Deputy Head of the UK Commercial Division

- Keely joined our Commercial Department in April 2009 having previously gained 12 years' experience on Liability products.
- Keely's specialist areas are Liability, our Tradesman's Package and PL Plus i.e. Public Liability including cover for Professional Services.
Luke Setterfield, Dip CII

Property Owners Unit Head
- In 2010 Luke joined the Chaucer Commercial Underwriting Team specialising in complex liability and commercial combined cases and later helping to develop the property owner product.
- In January 2015 Luke became the Property Owners Unit Head where he currently manages and looks to develop the account.
- Luke currently mentors Tom Chaffe helping Tom to further his commercial underwriting knowledge.
Kathleen Hollman, Dip CII

Motor Trade Unit Head
- Started working in the Insurance industry at Swift Cover in 2008
- In 2009, Kathleen joined Chaucer Insurance working in commercial vehicle claims and moved to the Commercial Underwriting Department in 2011.
- Main responsibility is working under the Deputy Divisional Head dealing with motor trade combined and commercial combined and working towards her ACII qualification.

- Started working at Chaucer in January 2012 as part of Chaucer Direct after graduating from University in 2010, and joined the UK Commercial team at the end of 2012.
- Works within all areas of the department with a focus on Liability, Commercial Combined and Tradesmans’ risks.
- Team Leader for Underwriting Assistants and Assistant Underwriters working alongside the Unit heads.
Ed Harrison, Dip CII

- Started working at Chaucer in February 2011 as an Ecommerce Analyst before moving to the UK Commercial team in July 2014.
- Previously worked for Xchanging and Capita Insurance Services either side of completing a business degree.
- Working under Thomas Morrissey, Ed’s main responsibilities include dealing with commercial combined quotes and enquiries whilst also working towards his ACII qualification.
Andy Moran, Cert CII

- Having started working in the insurance industry in 2006, Andy joined Chaucer as a Referral and Technical Underwriting Assistant in 2011 before moving to the UK Commercial team in 2014.
- Andy reports to the Motor Trade Unit Head and mainly underwrites motor trade business.
- Andy is continuing his professional development and is currently working towards his Dip CII qualification.
Tom Chaffe, Cert CII
Commercial Underwriting Assistant 
- After Graduating University in 2012 with a 2:1 in Economics, Tom joined Chaucer on their Graduate Scheme in 2013.
- Spent 2 years on the Graduate Scheme in order to gain experience working in all areas of the business
- Joined the Commercial Underwriting team in 2015 as an Underwriting Assistant.
- Working towards his Diploma and ACII Qualifications.
